SML Isuzu: The Company to increases price of its buses

SML Isuzu Limited, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has decided to increase the price of its Buses. The Company informs the exchange on Saturday, September 7.

SML Isuzu, from 1st October, 2024, will increase the prices of its Buses including all models. The Company will increase the price in the range of 1.0% to 1.5%. The Company increase the prices because of increase in raw material expenses.

Established in 1983, SML Isuzu Limited (SMLI) is a commercial vehicle manufacturer. SMLI produces and sells buses, ambulances and customized vehicles. Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors hold a 44% and 15% stake of the company respectively.

The company manufactures light commercial vehicles like trucks, buses, school buses, ambulances, police personnel carriers, water tankers and special vehicles. It exports its products to countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Seychelles, Syria, Jordan.
