Apollo Hospitals to invest Rs. 103.26 crores to AHLL, share rose by 1%

Apollo Hospitals, one of the largest and most renowned healthcare group in Asia, to acquire 35.12 lakh equity shares of Rs. 294 per share by subscribing to the rights issue of Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, a subsidiary of the company.

Apollo Hospitals acquires 35.12 lakh equity shares of AHLL of Rs. 10 each at a price of Rs. 294/- per share (including premium of Rs. 284/- per share) aggregating to Rs. 103.26 crores. The company informs the exchange regarding acquisition of shares of AHLL on Saturday, July 6.

The principal activities includes operation of speciality hospitals, maternity hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, sugar clinics, dental clinic and dialysis centres.

AHLL is currently engaged in the business of manufacturing of all kinds of air conditioners, commercial refrigeration equipment, cooling appliances and other related products.

The turnover of AHLL for FY21, FY22 and FY23 is INR 706.3 crore, INR 1,321.1 crore and INR 1,242.6 crore, respectively.
