DNEG Group, a global visual effects and animation company, has agreed to raise $200 million from United Al Saqer Group, a leading Abu-Dhabi investor on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. The company informs the exchange on July 2. DNEG is a material step down subsidiary of Prime Focus Limited.
This significant investment is expected to enhance DNEG’s capabilities in visual effects, animation and related fields. The funds will likely be used to expand technological advancements, support creative projects and possibly explore new areas within visual entertainment.
As per March 31, 2024, DNEG Group has net worth of INR 324.18 crores (62.82% of consolidated net worth of Prime Focus Limited group). DNEG Group has a turnover of INR 3524.55 crores (82.81% of consolidated turnover of Prime Focus Limited group), as per March 31, 2024.
